Increasingly strict European and national environmental legislation represents a challenge to the textile industry. GUT wants to go further than the legislation. 

By influencing authorities and by going beyond the legal requirements, GUT shows the industry's willingness to ensure customer well-being and to place environmental topics high on the agenda of the European and national governments.
